All college visits scheduled for the Career Center will be posted on Family Connection in your Blackboard account. You must sign up for a visit online, print out the confirmation page, and have your classroom teacher sign it for your pass to the visit. While logged on to Family Connection, click on the colleges that interest you and compare your GPA and test scores to the averages of admitted students at those institutions. Click here for 2008-2009 Virginia college costs and application deadlines. At www.collegeboard.com you can search for schools that match your preferences using the College Matchmaker. Another useful resource is the Virginia Department of Education's site for secondary students at: http://www.pen.k12.va.us/VDOE/Instruction/studentindex.html. And you will find links to many
